Attractions in and around Krynica Morska:
1. Harbour and pier: the main harbour on the Vistula Lagoon is a place where you can watch the returning fishermen and go on a cruise to Frombork, Tolkmicko, Elbląg and on the Vistula Lagoon itself. We also recommend the fishing harbour on the side of the Bay of Gdańsk for fishing fans.
2. Lighthouse: the characteristic red lighthouse in Krynica Morska is the easternmost lighthouse on the Polish Baltic coast. At its top, there is an observation deck from which you can admire the Baltic Sea and the Vistula Lagoon. Near the lighthouse, it is worth visiting the cemetery of Soviet soldiers.
3. Camel's Hump: the highest permanent dune in Europe, 49 metres above sea level, overlooking the Vistula Lagoon and the Bay of Gdańsk. It is a natural lookout point about 40 minutes' walk from the city centre, with access by car.
4 Upside-down house: located within the Fairylandia playground. This unusual house encourages visitors to discover the world from a completely new perspective. In addition to the upside-down house, there are also bouncy castles, a ball pool and a virtual reality studio on site.
5. The Stutthof Museum in Stutthof: This historical concentration camp, established as early as 1939, is one of the longest-established camps on Polish territory. The museum recalls the tragic events of the Second World War.
6. Museum of the Vistula Lagoon in Kąty Rybackie: a branch of the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk, presenting traditional fishing boats and a historical boatbuilding workshop.
7. Half-timbered church in Stegna: currently the Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Stegna, which impresses with its unique interior design and elaborate organ.
8. The Amber Museum and Gallery ‘Bursztynowa Komnata’: located in nearby Stegny (23km from Krynica). Here you can see a collection of unique lumps of Baltic amber and learn about the history of the lost Amber Chamber.
